Course Objectives
On completion of the workshop the delegate will have a good practical usage knowledge of the new features including the newest version of ITM 6.2.2.

ITM System-Administrators who require a good working knowledge of the ITM 6.2 and above.
Prerequisites
Practical knowledge of ITM 6.2 / 6.2.1 required.

1.) ITM 6.2 FP01/FP02
· WPA and SPA Navigator Items & Workspaces
· Agent Operation Log changes
· „Post“-Filter changes
· Changes within the logical functions
· Regular expressions in links, filters und thresholds
· Filter changes for “Query Based Views”
· Agent history file changes
· Single sign on – with LDAP and web start - / browser client
· DLA adapter changes (used for CCMDB input)

· Subnodes and navigator group items in context of Universal Agent Builder

· Model potentially threshold conditions for situations with the help of query based views
· Base-lining added to charts for trend analysis
· Situation overrides can be assigned to subnodes
· A new category of agent: Tivoli System Monitor Agent define “private” situations
with xml independent of TEMS
· Improved agent autonomy / autonomous information caching
· Send SNMP traps independently of TEMS
· Proxy Agent Services renamed to Agent Management Services
· TIP Web Service for Tivoli Integrated Portal charts uses BIRT report engine (see
separate information about BIRT course). TIP is IBMs new Tivoli application
