Description

This Workshop presents the installation and basics in the administration of the Sametime 8.51 server. Through lecture, demonstration and hands-on activities, students will gain experience in installing and configuring the Sametime server. Students use the Web-based Sametime Administration Tool to perform basic administrative tasks, including managing users and groups, configuring Sametime services, managing directories, monitoring and logging the server and enabling security features.

Audience

Experienced LAN system administrators who wish to install and maintain a Quickr 8.1 and Sametime 8.0 environment.

 

Prerequisites

Familiarity with Domino, specifically:
- Domino Administrator client
- Domino Directory
